The Hospital Management Team (HMT) of Holy Family Hospital, Berekum on Tuesday 19th March, 2024 inaugurated a new ultra-modern High Dependency Unit (HDU) at the Maternity Block Complex and a Breast Care Clinic as part of their commitment to provide quality health care within Berekum and its environs and Ghana.
The High Dependency Unit is equipped with specialist monitoring and other equipment to provide care for women needing more frequent observations by multidisciplinary team including specially trained midwives, obstetricians, anaesthetists and nurses.
The Breast Care Clinic which will provide comprehensive breast cancer care to women. The Center is a one-stop service for all breast cancer related issues for women, including advanced screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and personalized care plans.
The breast care clinic services includes: health education on breast diseases, routine Screening for Breast Cancer, Breast Biopsies, treatment of all Breast Diseases and administration of Chemotherapy for Breast Cancer.
