Holy Family Hospital offers housemanship training in the four main disciplines namely Internal medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This training programme dubbed Integrated Training is unique and prepares the doctor to be all round and highly skilled person to meet the demands of the society. It further gives them the ground to make fair assessment for future post graduate training. Daily clinical meetings and scheduled academic presentations and workshops are held. Skills acquisition is an integral part of the training. House-officers are guided to acquire skill in performing certain lifesaving and elective surgeries based on competence.
This makes them better and equipped and virtually independent with confidence when they become medical officers.
