Holy Family Catholic Hospital, Berekum joined the rest of the world to celebrate World Oral Health Day today 20th March, 2025 under the global theme “A Happy Mouth is a Happy Mind” to help raise awareness about the importance of good oral hygiene, its importance and impact on overall well-being.
During the health education at the OPD, Under Five Clinic and Paediatric Ward, the team at the Dental Clinic stressed on the importance of daily oral hygiene practices such as brushing twice daily and flossing, along with the importance of regular dental check-ups.
They also highlighted on the connection between oral health and general health and emphasized that a healthy mouth is key to a happy mind. At the end of their education, the team shared toothpaste to it cherished patients and children around.
